The University of Haifa offers international English-language graduate programs in Israel in a variety of disciplines. The one and two-year programs are designed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in their respective fields and aim to provide practical experiences that will lend themselves to success in a highly competitive global market. Haifa is Israels third largest city and one of its most beautiful and multicultural. Haifa has gorgeous beaches, scenic views from Mount Carmel, and forests perfect for hiking. It is the home of the magnificent Bahai Gardens and Temple, theaters, concert halls, restaurants, and museums. Two of Israels leading universities, the University of Haifa and the Technion, are located in Haifa, giving the city a vibrant student life and lively nightlife. The Raphael Recanati International School at Reichman University is an “island” of opportunity for students from around the world who would like to deepen their bonds with Israel while earning internationally recognized and sought-after academic degrees. Barely 20 minutes away from Tel Aviv, Herzliya is known as the more exclusive, calm, and upscale neighbor city. Famous for its beaches and boardwalk bars and restaurants, Herzliya satisfies people’s outdoor mentality year round. With no wave breakers (like those in Tel Aviv), the city’s beaches are a surfer’s dream come true, with locations offering lessons to those who want to learn surfing or a variety of other water sports.
Apollonia Beach offers a different kind of experience – resting below Apollonia National Park, the beach is bordered by a cliff and is home to the archaeological remains of what was once a crusader city, including a fortress built in the thirteenth century. The climb up gives visitors the opportunity to see a beautiful panoramic view of Herzliya’s coast. Bars along the water are abundant, as well as nightlife and restaurants further into the city.
IDC College, built on a former air force military base, welcomes both Israeli and international students and is a haven of trees, gardens, and environmentally friendly buildings. Students are never bored in this city, with the Seven Stars Mall less than 10 minutes away and filled with stores, restaurants, a movie theater, a fitness gym, and regular festivals and food fairs throughout the year. For some extra culture, Herzliya’s Museum of Contemporary Art features traditional and modern art and is well worth a visit.

Offered in conjunction with the Department of Bible and the Institute of Archaeology and the Ancient Near East  This two-year Master's program in Israel is designed for students who wish to study contemporary Biblical (Hebrew scriptures) studies, providing grounding in Biblical as well as Modern Hebrew. Students specialize in one of two tracks:  1. The Bible: Cultural and Historical Context. In this specialization, students study the historical, cultural, and geographical context in which the Bible was composed, as well as its impact on later cultural and historical contexts and events.  2. The Bible and the Ancient Near East. In addition to studying the Bible in its immediate regional context, students acquire a sound knowledge of the history and culture of the Ancient Near East, including the study of Akkadian. (Students may also choose to study other ancient languages, such as Egyptian, Ugartic, or Greek.)  The M.A. program consists of 42 credits over four consecutive semesters, including required courses in Biblical Hebrew, Akkadian, History and Culture of the Ancient Near East, and Introduction to Biblical Literature, as well as elective courses and tutorials. Group tutorials are offered in Biblical Aramaic and Targum Onqalos.

Known as the city of gold, Jerusalem is a magical mix of ancient and modern, where outdoor shuks (markets) rub shoulders with gleaming office towers. The city's most popular spots include a vibrant downtown with world-class restaurants and shopping, and the Old City, a maze of winding alleyways and colorful markets enclosed by walls dating back to the 16th century.

At Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, cultural immersion and exchange are our priorities. In your academic or research program, you will study alongside local Israeli peers, as well as a diverse cohort of international students from around the globe. We encourage our Israeli and international students to learn from one another beyond the classroom. Beer Sheva is known as the capital of the Negev Desert. Located at the northern tip of the Negev Desert, Beer Sheva is also one of Israels fastest growing cities. ֲ  Home to Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva has a large student population and a vibrant culture for young adults. The student community is very social and offers many opportunities for Masa Fellows to take part in student initiatives and activities. As a result, the area around the university has a college town feel, filled with entertaining nightlife. ֲ  Beer Sheva also has a large immigrant population and many Bedouin communities in the nearby areas. Fellows are encouraged to volunteer with these communities to better understand local issues of coexistence.

Kinneret College was founded in 1965.
