Hebrew University – Master Programs

Students in the LLM in International Law and Human Rights program learn from distinguished legal scholars and leading practitioners about the creation and implementation of human rights and international law. The curriculum addresses the main fields of international law – international organizations, conflict resolution, the laws of war, immigration law, and more, as well as key areas of human rights law including multiculturalism and transitional justice. Through the program’s focus on globalization and its impact, graduates are well prepared for a career in law, academia or international organizations. One year program.

This MA program enables students to delve into the literature, history, cultures and languages of the Ancient Near East through critical examination of Biblical texts, intensive study of Biblical Hebrew and Akkadian, and Biblical archaeology courses and study tours. In addition, students have the option to study modern Hebrew from beginner through advanced levels. This program is geared towards students with a background in the field who wish to pursue further academic studies. Two-year program.

Students in this program explore Jewish history, literature, philosophy and culture while living in Jerusalem, the city where much of it originated. The curriculum, taught by leading global experts in this field, is divided into two main periods: ancient to early medieval and late medieval to modern. In addition, students acquire a strong foundation in Modern Hebrew. Two-year program.

Students in this intensive program will be equipped with the tools needed to become a leader in the nonprofit world. The curriculum covers the organizational, social and financial aspects of nonprofit management and leadership. To apply their knowledge, students collaborate with a nonprofit organization during their year of study, gaining invaluable practical experience. One year program.
