When do I need to finish filling out all the School Visit Forms?

You will fill them out during the first week of school.

What do I do if I don’t have a printer in my school?

If you do not have access to a printer at all, you can use the activities directly form the Toolbox. This requires more time of preparation since you may need to use other teaching aids such as, the class board, a small erasable board, white paper, notebooks, and more.

How do I get pedagogical help with my classes

You may open a question on the Forum. There is a link to the Forum in the upper right corner above the opening banner in the Toolbox.

How do I use the Toolbox on my iPad, PC, or phone?

Make sure you know which activities or teaching resources you will need in advance and where you can find them on the Toolbox. Open the files on your Laptop and use it as an interactive board. The digital books can be opened from the Toolbox, where you can find the listening tasks for the books. You can play the songs and the listening activities during the lessons.

What is my responsibility as an MITF Fellow?

Fellows are required to work in school at least four days a week (Monday – Friday) for a minimum of 25 weekly hours. Together with the host teacher, Fellows' hours and schedules will be determined.

Why are the School Visit Forms important?

The School Visit Forms will help you get to know your school by providing questions that can guide you. In addition, the Forms may help you think of questions on your own.

How do I find activities?

When you enter the site, click on the blue “Pedagogical Toolbox” bar. Scroll down and select your grade level. Click on the circle for “Books and Workbooks.” There you will be able to download the activities in a Word file format and navigate through the different sections.

What is the Toolbox?

The digital platform is a “Toolbox” for YOU, the MITF Fellows, to reach your students using enjoyable activities that will make a difference in your teaching experience.
