The Raphael Recanati International School at Reichman University is an “island” of opportunity for students from around the world who would like to deepen their bonds with Israel while earning internationally recognized and sought-after academic degrees. Our dedicated staff span the spectrum of services that a student living away from home would need – from academic, to social, to housing and more. In 1994 Professor Uriel Reichman, President and Founder of Reichman University, established this university based on the values of “freedom and responsibility”. His aim was to imbue in our students the inner aspiration to succeed, while never forgetting our responsibility to help, support and build up others. The RRIS has over 2,500 students from 90 countries – a third of Reichman University's student body – meaning that we can proudly call ourselves the largest academic absorption center in the country. In fact, 37% of all international students studying full-time for their degrees in Israel study at Reichman University. This gives us the highest number of international students of any academic institution in the country. According to the Council for Higher Education we are ranked number one, both per capita and in absolute numbers, out of 65 universities and colleges in Israel. Now more than ever we are an institution that embraces Zionism, and our goal is to educate a generation of new leaders for the State of Israel, the Jewish world and the world at large. The climb up gives visitors the opportunity to see a beautiful panoramic view of Herzliya’s coast. Bars along the water are abundant, as well as nightlife and restaurants further into the city.
IDC College, built on a former air force military base, welcomes both Israeli and international students and is a haven of trees, gardens, and environmentally friendly buildings. Students are never bored in this city, with the Seven Stars Mall less than 10 minutes away and filled with stores, restaurants, a movie theater, a fitness gym, and regular festivals and food fairs throughout the year. For some extra culture, Herzliya’s Museum of Contemporary Art features traditional and modern art and is well worth a visit.

Do you have a passion for sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, water management, or desert ecology?   The Arava Fall/Spring semester offers a unique inter-disciplinary study abroad program designed to educate future environmental leaders to solve the common challenges facing the world through cooperation and cross-cultural communication. Live and study with Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians, and other international students on Kibbutz Ketura in the Southern Arava Valley, as you work together on transboundary environmental issues.   Students participate in a rich program which includes community building activities and social events, as well as regional trips, desert hikes, gardening, camping, horseback riding, and more. Kibbutz Ketura is located near Eilat and approximately 4 hours from the center of country, which is easily accessible by public transportation.

Taught entirely in English by world renowned Technion faculty, the B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering program is a four-year degree. Mechanical Engineering provides the foundational engineering infrastructure for all modern industry. A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for constructing creative solutions using scientific and technological innovations. From developing designs to building machines, Mechanical Engineers are essential to contributing to the advancement of humanity and as well as its welfare. Program appears on grant application as: Technion – BSc in Mechanical Engineering  Option of Transferring to Regular Technion Programs (in Hebrew) Students who have successfully completed the first year (Freshman Year) of the program have the option of transferring into a regular undergraduate study track in Hebrew offered by other engineering and science faculties at the university, provided their Hebrew language skills are sufficient according to Technion policies. Internal Faculty Transfer Students enrolled in a Technion International program who would like to transfer to another Technion faculty are responsible for inquiring with the faculty in question about its transfer requirements. The faculty will consider transfer requests based on the following three criteria:• Academic Preparation program average• Grade point average of academic courses taken in the first year of the program• Hebrew placement examination score at the end of the first year*Students can also apply to transfer their Technion credits to a university of their choice

The Year/Semester Abroad program at the University of Haifa grants you an unparalleled study abroad experience in Israel that combines challenging academics with the opportunity to immerse yourself in an Israeli university. International students can choose to attend the program for one semester or for a full academic year and are expected to take three to five courses each semester. All of the courses in the International School are taught in English and are fully accredited. Students who are proficient in Hebrew are welcome to take courses in all other departments of the university.
