Do you believe that nature knows no borders? Do you have a passion for sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, water management, or desert ecology? The Arava Institute’s Israel internship program is home to five transboundary research and development centers, each addressing areas of environmental concern. In collaboration with young Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians, and other international researchers, participants will explore topics like water management, energy conservation, sustainable agriculture, water management, ecology, and environmental diplomacy. Join the Arava Institute’s researchers for one or two semesters working under the mentorship of a faculty member. The internship fosters rich learning experiences in environmental research and development, environmental policy, and project management. Interns will leave the program with solid professional contacts and will be well-positioned to build community-based partnerships. Interns are part of the general campus community, and participate in a rich program which includes community building activities and social events, as well as regional trips, desert hikes, gardening, camping, horseback riding, and more. Kibbutz Ketura is located near Eilat and approximately 4 hours from the center of country, which is easily accessible by public transportation.

Apollonia Beach offers a different kind of experience – resting below Apollonia National Park, the beach is bordered by a cliff and is home to the archaeological remains of what was once a crusader city, including a fortress built in the thirteenth century. The climb up gives visitors the opportunity to see a beautiful panoramic view of Herzliya’s coast. Bars along the water are abundant, as well as nightlife and restaurants further into the city.
IDC College, built on a former air force military base, welcomes both Israeli and international students and is a haven of trees, gardens, and environmentally friendly buildings. Students are never bored in this city, with the Seven Stars Mall less than 10 minutes away and filled with stores, restaurants, a movie theater, a fitness gym, and regular festivals and food fairs throughout the year. For some extra culture, Herzliya’s Museum of Contemporary Art features traditional and modern art and is well worth a visit.

Live and study with Israelis, Palestinians, Jordanians, and other international students on Kibbutz Ketura in the Southern Arava Valley, as you work together on transboundary environmental issues.   Students participate in a rich program which includes community building activities and social events, as well as regional trips, desert hikes, gardening, camping, horseback riding, and more. Kibbutz Ketura is located near Eilat and approximately 4 hours from the center of country, which is easily accessible by public transportation.

The Masa M.A. academic programs at Ariel University are offered in the following fields:

·        MBA – Masters of Business Administration (M.A. in English)

The Masa program in these fields includes the first semester courses from the two-year Master's degree studies + intensive Hebrew courses (500 hours of study in the ulpan).

MBA – Master of business administration (M.A. in English)

The program is open to participants aged 21 to 34, who have completed their higher education (bachelor's/specialist's degree) and want to improve their knowledge in the field of Management and gain useful skills under the guidance of leading experts in their fields. Study is conducted in English, but also there is an option to study in Russian.

Academic courses include: Business financing; Marketing; Total Quality Management; Mathematics for Business Administration; Information Systems Management.

Masa – Strategic and Digital Advertising (M.A. in English)

The MA program in Strategic and Digital Advertising incorporates communication, marketing communications and advertising theories into strategic and digital communication campaigns and branding practices at the individual and organizational levels.

The Masa program includes first-semester courses (in an online-hybrid format) from the two-year Master's degree studies.

Academic courses include: Fundamentals of advertising; Political Branding; Information-based marketing; Visualization for strategic communication.

Masa – Communication, Public Advocacy and Combating Antisemitism

The MA program in Communication, Public Advocacy, and Combating Antisemitism incorporates digital and analogue communications and a multitude of approaches to antisemitism studies, and equips students with both a solid theoretical background and practical skills needed in the 21st century.

The Masa program includes first-semester courses (in an online-hybrid format) from the one-year Master's degree studies. Academic courses include: Theories of governance and politics; Rhetoric and non-verbal communication; Antisemitism on campus in the 21st century.

Relevant to all Ariel University Masa Academic programs:

·        intensive Hebrew courses (500 hours of study in the ulpan)

·        Lectures and seminars on the history and culture of Israel

·        Excursions in Israel and student activities

·        Accommodation in a student dormitory on the campus of Ariel University

A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for constructing creative solutions using scientific and technological innovations. From developing designs to building machines, Mechanical Engineers are essential to contributing to the advancement of humanity and as well as its welfare. Program appears on grant application as: Technion – BSc in Mechanical Engineering  Option of Transferring to Regular Technion Programs (in Hebrew) Students who have successfully completed the first year (Freshman Year) of the program have the option of transferring into a regular undergraduate study track in Hebrew offered by other engineering and science faculties at the university, provided their Hebrew language skills are sufficient according to Technion policies. Internal Faculty Transfer Students enrolled in a Technion International program who would like to transfer to another Technion faculty are responsible for inquiring with the faculty in question about its transfer requirements. The faculty will consider transfer requests based on the following three criteria:• Academic Preparation program average• Grade point average of academic courses taken in the first year of the program• Hebrew placement examination score at the end of the first year*Students can also apply to transfer their Technion credits to a university of their choice
