The city where past and present meet. Established over 3,000 years ago, the city of Jerusalem offers you the chance to literally reach out and touch the past. Known as the city of gold, Jerusalem is a magical mix of ancient and modern, where outdoor shuks (markets) rub shoulders with gleaming office towers. The city's most popular spots include a vibrant downtown with world-class restaurants and shopping, and the Old City, a maze of winding alleyways and colorful markets enclosed by walls dating back to the 16th century.

The Year/Semester Abroad program at the University of Haifa grants you an unparalleled study abroad experience in Israel that combines challenging academics with the opportunity to immerse yourself in an Israeli university. International students can choose to attend the program for one semester or for a full academic year and are expected to take three to five courses each semester. All of the courses in the International School are taught in English and are fully accredited. Students who are proficient in Hebrew are welcome to take courses in all other departments of the university.

Study with world-renowned faculty, engage with students from around the world and enjoy a wide array of extracurricular activities.The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya was established twenty years ago as Israel’s first private university.  IDC Herzliya believes in ‘start-up academia’ and encourages its students to initiate, innovate, invent and create. Many successful startups in Israel today first came together on the IDC campus. IDC has 6,500 students currently enrolled for undergraduate and graduate degrees.  Approximately 1,700 of these students hail from 82 countries across the globe and study at the Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS). The result is a unique international atmosphere on campus as students enjoy studying in a multicultural environment and form lasting personal and professional relationships. This year IDC was ranked the number one university in student satisfaction for the fourth consecutive year. Admission Requirements:
 
Students must have completed at least one year of studies at their home university, two years is recommended.
Students must be in good academic standing.
 We strongly recommend studying for one academic year, or the spring semester as opposed to the fall semester due to semester clashes with overseas universities. 
We give preference to those who wish to study for one academic year and have completed at least two years of study at a university recognized by IDC Herzliya. 
Recognition of transfer credits is the responsibility of the student.
English Proficiency
 The Raphael Recanati International School is taught entirely in English. Students of universities in which English is not the primary language of instruction are required to pass the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or an equivalent test, such as the IELTS (International English Language Testing System), PEARSON (Language Test).  TOEFL: www.toefl.orgIELTS:www.ielts.orgPEARSON: www.pearsonpte.com   

Barely 20 minutes away from Tel Aviv, Herzliya is known as the more exclusive, calm, and upscale neighbor city. Famous for its beaches and boardwalk bars and restaurants, Herzliya satisfies people’s outdoor mentality year round. With no wave breakers (like those in Tel Aviv), the city’s beaches are a surfer’s dream come true, with locations offering lessons to those who want to learn surfing or a variety of other water sports.
Apollonia Beach offers a different kind of experience – resting below Apollonia National Park, the beach is bordered by a cliff and is home to the archaeological remains of what was once a crusader city, including a fortress built in the thirteenth century. The climb up gives visitors the opportunity to see a beautiful panoramic view of Herzliya’s coast. Bars along the water are abundant, as well as nightlife and restaurants further into the city.
IDC College, built on a former air force military base, welcomes both Israeli and international students and is a haven of trees, gardens, and environmentally friendly buildings. Students are never bored in this city, with the Seven Stars Mall less than 10 minutes away and filled with stores, restaurants, a movie theater, a fitness gym, and regular festivals and food fairs throughout the year. For some extra culture, Herzliya’s Museum of Contemporary Art features traditional and modern art and is well worth a visit.

A BGU experience is more than your typical study abroad. Here, you will immerse yourself in our vibrant campus community. You'll choose from a long list of courses offered in English in your field, and enroll in actual BGU courses together with Israeli students. Beer Sheva is known as the capital of the Negev Desert. Located at the northern tip of the Negev Desert, Beer Sheva is also one of Israels fastest growing cities. ֲ  Home to Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva has a large student population and a vibrant culture for young adults. The student community is very social and offers many opportunities for Masa Fellows to take part in student initiatives and activities. As a result, the area around the university has a college town feel, filled with entertaining nightlife. ֲ  Beer Sheva also has a large immigrant population and many Bedouin communities in the nearby areas. Fellows are encouraged to volunteer with these communities to better understand local issues of coexistence.

Hebrew University's non-degree graduate program offers a flexible academic framework for students who wish to participate in seminars and language courses from a variety of areas. While this program does not offer a degree, a full transcript will be provided in order to facilitate the transfer of credit to the student's home university.  The areas covered by the program are precisely those for which the Hebrew University has acquired a reputation for excellence, and where Israel and Jerusalem provide a natural environment for advanced academic work: Biblical and Jewish Studies, Religion, Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, Jewish Education, Israeli Society and Politics, and Nonprofit Management and Leadership. Language instruction is offered in Modern Hebrew, Biblical Hebrew, Akkadian, Biblical Aramaic, Literary Arabic, Colloquial Arabic and Greek. Students who decide to pursue a graduate degree at the Hebrew University at either the Rothberg International School or one of the Hebrew University faculties/schools may use their time in the Graduate Year Program to improve their Hebrew and fulfill certain degree requirements.  For more information about studying in Israel at Hebrew University, please contact: contactus@mail.huji.ac.il .

Admission to a BA program in Israel without the psychometric exam.

This program will guarantee you a smooth adaptation within a leading Israeli university institute – Tel-Aviv University

and will allow you to combine learning Hebrew while obtaining your diploma.

The first year will be taught in French with Ulpan classes in parallel.
