The intern will take the position of research associate either in biological or chemistry department depending on the interns’ skills, background, education, and experience.
The intern will assist the company R&D workers in various assignments. Direct manager to intern will be assigned to ensure smooth integration and daily work.

Interns in this position will be involved in both lab and field research relating to nature preservation, ecology and wildlife in Israel.
Most days the intern will be working in the lab in Tel Aviv. On days when field research is being conducted, hours will be longer and travel will be required.
An academic degree in Biology, Ecology or Zoology. MA preferred.
Experience in conducting zoological research or working with animals.
Dr. David Anaki, a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology and in the Gonda Multidisciplinary Brain Research Center, studies the psychological, neuropsychological, and neural properties of the human visual system. Anaki and his team investigate the unique mechanisms and processes that underlie the perception of various visual categories such as faces, objects, scenes and words, as well as the commonalities between them.
These issues are investigated by combining electrophysiological (ERP) and behavioral techniques, and by examining healthy individuals as well as individuals with specific neuropsychological deficits that affect various aspects of visual perception, such as agnosia, prosopagnosia, simultanagnosia and posterior cerebral atrophy (PCA). your position will include Literature searches for the professor’s projects

Working with EcoPeace’s regional investment team, this intern will help EcoPeace develop and support eco-friendly entrepreneurs whose businesses center on the Jordan Valley while building up the next generation of green social entrepreneurs. Duties include:
• Writing business cases
• Assisting with business development
• Researching funding opportunities in the Middle East and internationally, including conferences, liaising with potential donors and attending site visits
• Communication with relevant clients and contractors

Project Support Intern: Government Relations
Working with EcoPeace’s Israeli Government Relations Manager, this position involves advocacy and coordination with the Israeli government and media. Duties include:
• Attending meetings, taking minutes, and conducting follow up correspondence
• Preparation of materials for meetings and advocacy
• Assisting in social media content development – Hebrew
• Assist in project management and logistics, for upcoming events and activities

Development Intern
Working alongside the regional development department to help produce content for both print and social media, this intern will assist with EcoPeace’s branding and external communications. Duties include:
• Writing project proposals and reports for EcoPeace’s donors
• Coordinating with EcoPeace’s regional team to monitor program implementation and outputs
• Analysis of program results
• Development of work plans and project planning
• Developing and maintaining relationships with donors, ongoing communication

Internship schedules are determined upon availability; interns usually work 2-4 days per week.

Interns are required to supply their own laptop computers (adaptors etc…).
