Jika is a platform that aims to make investing in the stock market accessible and simple for retail investors at all levels, using institutional-grade research tools and educational tools for better investment decision-making.

Jika is a highly tech-oriented startup, both co-founders are experienced programmers that develop Jika by themselves. As we grow, we look to expand our R&D capabilities by adding new members to our team. One of our main R&D efforts is data science. Our new team members will be responsible for developing NLP and ML algorithms that analyze financial and alternative data to produce insights for Jika’s users.

In addition, they will join an experienced team and be exposed to a startup in its growth phase, to our working methods, to the process itself, and hopefully stay with us as employees!

We are looking for RT Embedded Software Engineer, for a growing development team, that develops End-to-End IoT products (cool devices).

We work in small, specialized teams, and are seeking people who want to enhance their expertise, look out for the big picture, and influence it.

We are looking for a firmware/embedded engineer, someone who is:

– Manage all aspects of software development – from planning new features, designing software solutions, testing, quality management to release and maintenance
– Contribute and participate in technical discussions and architectural decisions
– Lead, grow, mentor, and manage a team of talented software engineers
– Work in close collaboration with Product and Design teams

– At least 2 years of experience in managing a development team
– Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with teammates and people from different departments
– Ability to deep dive and understand technical features, complex design, and architecture
– Experience developing applications and projects from scratch and at scale
– 5 years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C#, C++, PHP, or Python

– Working on new and existing features for Oktopost SaaS application using modern technologies and best practices
– Implementing processes for consuming and analyzing Big Data

– 3 years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to Java, C#, C++, PHP, or Python
– At least a year of experience with front-end technologies including Javascript, CSS, HTML, and any modern JS framework (Vue.js, React, Angular)

Our R&D effort includes developing user interfaces, server-side logic, data-processing mechanism, and data science models.

• In-depth knowledge of OOP principles
• In-depth knowledge of .NET and C# internals
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture – a big advantage
• Work experience with K8S, Dockers, a message bus- a big advantage
