Description
Below are a few of the activities we plan to accomplish during this program:
• Learning about NATAL’s various programs and departments
• Meeting with NATAL professionals
• Writing meaningful content, such as grants and LOIs
• Engaging NATAL’s English social networks (primarily Facebook and LinkedIn)
• Helping to spread the word about NATAL’s work, especially in your communities
What you can expect from us:
• A deeper understanding of the effects of the Israeli-Arab conflict on the individual and society
• Learn how to use today’s media to improve understanding of social issues and contribute to
real social change
• Gain insight into the operation and administration of a nonprofit organization
• Exposure to the worldwide phenomena of “terror” and what this means to society
• Gain experience in how to engage communities in philanthropic causes
Qualifications
What we expect to from you:
• Be creative and work independently
• Bring your own ideas for new initiatives or improvements
• Give your personal perspective and share your own experiences
• Help with various daily tasks (e.g., small writing assignments, English editing, etc.)
• Fall interns are expected to help with the logistics of executing NATAL’s Annual Color Run –
NATAL’s largest event of the year.
