A Back End Developer Intern will:
Create, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, architectures and data sets
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
Back End Developer Intern Requirements:
BS degree in Computer Science (or currently pursuing), similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
Software development experience in Python
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Unix/Linux
Experience with NoSQL as well as RDBMS databases
Experience with AWS
Experience with Big Data Technology / Distributed Systems
Experience with Docker
Bonus: Familiarity with Machine Learning / AI
Bonus: Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Bonus: Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS and React

– Produce weekly e-newsletters for the Israel-Asia Center leadership programs, providing a wrap-up of the previous session, details of what’s next, and other updates for participants.

– Manage, update and create new content for the Israel-Asia Center website.

Creating posts on social media
Photography and/or videography: assisting with marketing and storytelling initiatives by working closely with the Village team, shinshin, and New York
office.

amass photo and media video materials about the Village or, if they have photography or visual arts skills, take photos or videos themselves.
