* Research Global markets and find opportunities for ECOncrete to get involved and grow its presence
* Map current and future activities (projects/programs) related to coastal protection, offshore wind, and waterfront infrastructure.
* Analyse potential companies to collaborate with.
* Scanning and summering relevant publications.
* Managing relevant databases.
* Support pricing modeling.
* Support ongoing activities in the sales and business development department.
* Assist with strategy presentations.
* Additionally, due to the small size of the company, the candidate will also help out other departments when necessary (ex. marketing department, design team).
The candidate will have the opportunity to learn a bit about many roles in the company.
It is preferred that the candidate has an interest in sustainability and is studying something related to the environment (environmental policy, environmental engineering, etc.).
Ideally, the candidate needs to be familiar with Excel.
It is preferred that the candidate has experience doing research, as the role requires reading many articles and documents and being able to scan for relevant information.
It is necessary that the candidate is very organized and responsible.
Making plans using detailed drawings.
Preparing estimates and budgets.
Creating accurate project specifications.
Designing engineering experiments.
Creating technical reports for customers.
Completing regulatory documents concerning safety issues.
A degree in Engineering
Volunteer in Israel with the country’s national rescue organization, Magen David Adom. Experience life as a first responder and work on ambulances throughout Israel! MDA works with the organization, Israel Experience to expand volunteers’ social and cultural perspectives by working alongside Israelis and experiencing Israel from the inside. Participants have the opportunity to learn about emergency medicine in Israel while volunteering on ambulances in the city of their choice. Volunteers complete eight-hour ambulance shifts fostering bonds with their fellow paramedics. The knowledge gained throughout this experience is invaluable.
In order to participate in MDA’s overseas volunteer program, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. The program costs differ depending on the level of training desired.
