Interns of Docaviv will be working directly with the Content & Programming department, with the Guest department, and PR for the festival.
Docaviv is considered one of the most prestigious documentary festivals in the world. Our office environment is lively, dynamic, and friendly. We are 6 people during the year, growing up to 12 main crew towards the festival. It is an opportunity to learn about the film festival field and to meet with professionals and filmmakers from around the globe.
The work includes dealing with international filmmakers and distributors, catalog coordinating, PR coordinating, and assisting to the Guest department.”
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team, organizational and multitasking skills, and interest in film.
– Assist the event manager on the event’s organization, such as looking for new suppliers (food, drinks, production, waiters…)
– Look for digital ideas to link the event to social media, taking care of the guest list, logistics around the event (hotels, planes, restaurant booking).
– English is very high level, French and Hebrew a plus
Assisting with various day-to-day tasks in a leading nonprofit contemporary art gallery in the vibrant “Kiryat Hamelacha” area in south Tel-Aviv.
Photographing events and exhibitions.
Operating a camera.
Photography and Photoshop (for events, products, and exhibition photos).
Executing marketing and pr plans in online channels and social media.

– Relevant education or work experience
An intern – depending on his field of expertise – business development or film/journalism – will accompany me in the long process of filmmaking.
From script writing, to research, from filming to editing, from translation to distribution, etc. If the intern is more interested in the creative process so he/she will do editing and filming, if he is more interested in the business field, he will help promoting movies or fundraising.
It’s a very small company but we are doing very interesting things – meeting fascinating people and reaching millions of viewers all over the world.
