Because ROPES is still in the startup phase, the intern will wear multiple hats. The exact portfolio of responsibilities will be determined in discussion with the team and will depend on the interests and qualifications of the chosen applicant, as well as the evolving needs of the organization.

helping design, plan, and execute ROPES’s pilot program—a Paris summit for young members of parliament and other emerging political leaders—in coordination with the founder, representatives from cosponsoring organizations, and the participants themselves
-working with the ROPES team to begin imagining and assessing the feasibility of subsequent programs
-working with the founder, development director and the ROPES advisory board to identify funding opportunities and craft relevant proposals
-liaising with like minded NGOs in the region in order to assess opportunities for synergy.

The ideal candidate for this position is a bright, detail-oriented self-starter, with an analytical and technical background, who is passionate about using data to help customers drive strategic decisions and business improvements. This position provides an excellent opportunity for interns to apply analytical and technical abilities to market research and customer experience and to gain expertise in working with global, Fortune 500 companies.

Vayomar – a 2 decades old training and consulting firm in the areas of strategic decision making and interpersonal communications – is looking to expand through online products and services.

We are in the process of weighing up different options. It could be:
Online courses delivered through another platform (think UDEMY) – ‘Going Wide’ OR
Taking one of our most successful methodologies and creating a flagship interactive online version (think of an online Strategic Decision Making Dashboard that helps companies take a systematic approach to everything they do) – ‘Going Deep’

As the Market Intelligence Intern your role will be to help us make a decision about which direction we go in by researching the existing market and producing a market report that details things like:

Current players/competitive landscape
Pricing models
Potential target markets by segment, industry and geography
Distribution and marketing models

and others including making a recommendation.

As part of the project, you will end up having the opportunity to be taught some of our methodologies around presenting which are world first and have been taught to executives in some of the leading companies all over the world. Using these skillsets – coached and mentored by one of our senior consultants – you will deliver your final findings in a presentation in front of the company’s leadership and its customer advisory board. By bringing the project to a conclusion this way you have the opportunity to develop world class presentation skills that will be a huge edge for you in your future career. Your mission will be to support the company’s vision by using smart digital marketing techniques to help the company grow, compete, and conquer through (Online) events worldwide, developing original content for social media campaigns and testing and improving vital performance indicators.

Your goal will be to identify, test, and analyze the latest digital marketing trends and development, to learn to identify different types of audiences, best performing digital marketing techniques, and most effective marketing campaign types that would help potential customers with their most burning pain points.

• Basic Knowledge of the key concepts of digital marketing and the main channels and techniques including SEO, PPC, social media, affiliate marketing and email marketing

• Willingness and ability to understand and learn new digital technologies and marketing tools

• Ability to understand analytical results like graphs and trends (e.g. Google Analytics)

• Some abilities to understand and use design tools either using professional Microsoft or Adobe software or online applications like Canva

MOST IMPORTANT TRAIT: willingness to read, research, learn, and develop. Your first book to read will be Hacking Growth, which will be the main textbook for the marketing practices and style or thinking.

Reporting directly to the product director, Assist the Product Team in analyzing customer surveys
Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis,
planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
Lead the POC validation process by defining, analyzing and interpreting consumer behavior surveys
Conduct in-depth competitor analysis (benchmark). You will know our competitors more that they do!
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering teams

• Research concerning different personalities and foundations which may be conducive to cooperation and/or fundraising for Israeli entities. • Research vis-a-vis various prominent figures in Israel who may have an interest in partnering with municipalities, and/or the projects being represented by the company.
• Reach out to- and create briefs about different figures abroad, in order to connect them to- and build friendship associations with regional councils/local governments in Israel. • Attend meetings with various figures from Israel and abroad, including Mayors, Political figures, community representatives and businesspeople.
• Help maintain databases of contacts and other relevant information.
• Attend conferences, receptions and/or events pertaining to the aforementioned topics.
• Contact and follow up on various meetings with members of the diplomatic corps, including Ambassadors, and their staff.
• Follow up on meetings with various people.

Strong research skills
Bachelor degree in International Relations or Communications or a related field

Knowledge of Hebrew or Arabic is very beneficial but not required
Other languages are a bonus

Assisting with research on international development and humanitarian aid as part of PR and professional material publishing

Assisting with business development as part of SID Israel’s efforts to engage the Israeli NGO, business, and government sectors

Assisting with the organization of events, workshops, and courses

Any independent assignments

The intern is expected to design and execute a personal project, related to Sid Israel’s work, under the supervision of the SID Israel team. Past projects, for example, include a new volunteering platform on SID Israel’s website, website content writing, report writing, special events, and more.
