We’re looking for a strong backend web-developer with practical experience (also in frontend), and the drive and enthusiasm to succeed in a professional team environment.

Responsibilities
As a backend web developer you will be expected to have full ownership and show leadership in developing web interface, which includes:
● User dashboard – You will develop and implement the architecture of the backend, frontend (desktop and mobile) and databases for user-facing dashboards.
● Internal monitoring tools – create tools that screen and analyze software performance logs (sent from our game) to identify errors and alert our development team
● BI dashboard – create and lead the development of business intelligence tools, based on usage data
● Version control and deployment system – to develop web tools that interacts with software that is installed on customer’s machines and allow installation and updates
● Billing and licensing – Creating a system for billing and licensing
● Security and Privacy – Develop privacy protection and security protocols
● More – unpublished but extremely interesting and challenging tasks

Requirements
● Experience as a Backend Developer
● Experience and knowledge in Frontend development
● Knowledge and experience with : Node.js, MongoDB, SQL
● Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (e.g. React, HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, etc) and familiarity with UI/UX design
● Excellent communication (in English) and teamwork skills
● Knowledge and experience over multiple projects with AWS services
● Proven experience in leading projects end-to-end, work with project management tools (e.g. Asana)

b. Overview: Analyze in-depth the American basketball market to determine whether a sustainable business model can be generated for our product
c. Project Justification: We have created a sports technology product proven with professional sports clubs and we are now looking to open up to the broader consumer market. We know generally that basketball is widely popular in America, but in order to bring our product to consumers with confidence, we need statistical reassurance that the US market can offer a sustainable business opportunity, and which market segments in the US offer the best chance of return. Without this reassurance, we would go into production/marketing blind, unsure of the market size, the average expense on sports tech, and other key market metrics for product success: this is very important work.
d. Objectives:
i. Analyze American highschool, college and professional basketball market sizes.
ii. Analyze American highschool, college and professional basketball technology training segment size.
iii. Analyze American highschool, college and professional basketball mind/cognitive solutions segment size.
iv. Analyze American highschool, college and professional basketball existing technologies.
v. Generate report & present findings answering this question: Do you believe we can build a sustainable business model in the United States, and if so, which target segment would be most profitable to pursue.

Volunteer in Israel with the country’s national rescue organization, Magen David Adom. Experience life as a first responder and work on ambulances throughout Israel! MDA works with the organization, Israel Experience to expand volunteers’ social and cultural perspectives by working alongside Israelis and experiencing Israel from the inside. Participants have the opportunity to learn about emergency medicine in Israel while volunteering on ambulances in the city of their choice. Volunteers complete eight-hour ambulance shifts fostering bonds with their fellow paramedics. The knowledge gained throughout this experience is invaluable.

In order to participate in MDA’s overseas volunteer program, you must be between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. The program costs differ depending on the level of training desired.
