At the end of their mandatory quarantine, MITF fellows convene for an in-person conference to reflect on the lessons and growth from their time in physical isolation, and to delve into subjects related to the core concepts of their program: Israel’s culture, educational system and diverse communities. We will kick off in the hills of Jerusalem with outdoor activities, take a quick jump in the pool, make a toast “L’chayim!” in an opening event with words by Ofer Gutman, acting CEO of Masa Israel Journey and Isaac Herzog, Chairman of The Jewish Agency for Israel; we will continue with workshops around powerful questions and dive-in experiences that brought a meaningful taste of the communities and social sectors from which fellows’ students come from.
