The Secrets of Reading in EFL
Abstract: This workshop will address the building blocks of learning to read and write in English as a Foreign Language. Participants will experience activities that promote the following components: phonemic awareness, letter-sound, and sound-letter correspondence combining word reading and writing with vocabulary acquisition. Case presentations will be followed by group discussions regarding effective intervention.
