Job Description

Logistical assistance between the various branches of the organization within Israel, and in the collaborations between their Twin-cities abroad. “Field Work” that can consist of welcoming, and sometimes accompanying international delegations. Assisting in the organization and prep towards conferences. Completing assignments given by the supervisor that vary between aspects such as: Phone calls and emails to various groups and official offices. Research and calibrating data into organized documents.

Qualifications

Students of Government and Diplomacy tracks. Additional Languages are an advantage.

Company Description

The Federation of Local Authorities in Israel is a non-governmental body which incorporates all municipalities and local councils in Israel. The role of the Federation is to represent the local authorities and to promote their interests in the Israeli Parliament and the various government authorities, as well as national institutions and organizations. For this purpose, the Federation is intensively active within the different parliamentary committees and vis-à-vis the relevant government ministries; while focusing on the legislative sphere in an attempt to regulate the responsibilities and authority of the local authorities, and the resources the government needs to allocate to it in basic law. In addition, the Federation of Local Authorities constitutes a professional advisory to the local authorities in their different fields of activity.
