Job Description

In the environment of a class of 8 children aged 3-6 with autism, helping the staff by supporting children throughout the day in various kindergarten activities, meal times, group activity times and free play times. It is possible to join individual treatments for children alongside the caregivers. The work is accompanied by supervision from experienced professionals. The role is challenging and develops educational and therapeutic skills, as part of a multi-professional team (educational, para-medical and therapeutic).

Qualifications

The position is suitable for you if you love small children, if you have patience in front of challenges, and if you want to learn how to make a change on a child’s future.
Preference for those with a B.A in education, psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy, social work, arts therapy, etc.), andor clinical experience.

We have 13 special education kindergartens throughout the city of Tel Aviv. The children, aged 3 to 6, are all diagnosed on the autism spectrum disorder. Each kindergarten has 8 children and a large multi-professional staff, including special education teachers, psychologists, art therapists, speech clinicians, occupational therapists, and more.
