What you will need: pictures of items related to the holiday
How to play:
Lay several pictures of items on the floor, the board or on a table, such as shofar, an apple, a honey jar, a shanah tova greeting card, etc. Go over the words for each picture. Ask the kids to take a close look. Then say – “go to sleep” – the kids will have to close their eyes. Remove one or more pictures. The say – “wake up!” – the kids will open their eyes. When they do, let them guess what’s missing. You can also make it into a scavenger hunt around the room to get everyone active!
