Job Description
A designer and copywriter with a real flair for social media. You love conceptualizing images for all types of media, have awesome communication skills and you like to interact with other people around the visual content you create. You’re a curious and independent learner with a good technical understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator. You’re flexible and eager to handle multiple, challenging projects with a positive, can-do attitude. Plus, you’ve got a great sense of humor.
As a Social Media Manager, You Will
• Develop a content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
• Use Photoshop and Illustrator to create compelling images for our social media and blog.
• Understand and apply web and design trends
• Keep up with design changes in the blogosphere to apply them to our own blogs.
• Oversee projects from conception to execution.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite – Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
• Support with operational follow up of campaigns with weekly optimizations based on KPI’s
• E-reputation and Community Management – including Brand Monitoring
Qualifications
• Studies related to Social Media Marketing
• Eligible to sign an internship agreement with the University you are enrolled in
• Fluency in English, other languages would be an asset
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Passion for Social Media, Online Marketing, internet and new technologies
• Team player, proactive, curious
• Social Media: Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
• Blogger Tools, best practices and templates
• Attention to detail
• Proactive with a can-do attitude
• Been able to navigate and understand KPIs in Google Analytics
• Video editing skills
