Cheezburger.com is a humor website, specializing in internet culture and meme trends. It includes a collection of well-known brands, such as I Can Has Cheezburger?, FAIL Blog, Memebase, and CheezCake. We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-driven Social media Intern to bring their unique perspective of the Internet to life. Cheezburger is a part of the Literally Media family, which includes eBaum’s World, Know Your Meme, and Cracked.
We’re looking for someone who’s studying digital media/communications that would help manage our different social media assets and would work closely with – and learn from – our teams of highly experienced editors. With a strong emphasis on experimentation (and data), our focus is on creating a fun experience for our audience.
Responsibilities:
● Assist in managing our different social media assets
● Stay up to date on relevant cultural events and trending topics
● Bring a unique perspective to your work
● Cooperate and execute ideas alongside all Cheezburger teams
● Full support for community management, social campaign management, etc.
Qualifications
Requirements:
● You are studying digital media/communications or any other relevant major
● In-depth knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Pinterest
● Must be internet savvy
● Strong communication skills
● Highly organized
● Commitment to having a positive, cooperative outlook
