Description
In the center we have two main programs:
1. Children & youth – for kids and teens age 6-21 which include a big veriaty of sport activities such as: swimming, basketball, soccer, art, cycling act’…
This program takes place twice a week, on Sunday and Wednesday between 15:00-18:00.
2. Adult program- for adults age 21 and above which includes table tennis, cycling, gym act’…
This program takes place twice a week on Monday and Thursday between 15:00-18:00.
Volunteers in the ISCD take part in the different programs in the center and assist the coaches in the different activities
Qualifications
we prefer intens who have a background in sport and or working with physical disabled people speaking Hebrew is an advantage
The Israel Sport Center for the Disabled is the first facility of it's kind in Israel and one of the world pioneers in the field of adapted physical activity and sports for individuals with disabilities. During it's 60 years of existence, it has concentrated on developing a variety of rehabilitative sports activities, the objective of which is to restore psychological and physical empowerment to the disabled individual.
