What is Masa?

Masa Israel Journey is a nonprofit organization powered by the Jewish Agency and the Israeli government, with global teams and headquarters in Jerusalem and New York.

We support young Jews in two core ways:

  • Programming: Exclusive leadership events, cultural experiences, and community-building for all Masa Fellows.
  • Funding: Grants and scholarships to make long-term Israel experiences more affordable.

We help you find a program that fits your goals—and once accepted, Masa supports you with funding, logistics, and immersive experiences on the ground.

How It Works

Find Your Program

Browse our site or connect with a Masa representative. We work with hundreds of approved organizers offering programs that include Hebrew classes, trips, housing, insurance, and more.

Connect & Apply

Once you find a good fit, either submit an interest form or let your Masa rep introduce you directly to the program. You’ll hear from a program advisor to help you apply.

Get Accepted

Apply to the program of your choice. Once accepted, you're ready to take the next steps with Masa.

Apply for a Masa Grant

After acceptance, apply for Masa funding. Grants are awarded based on program length, age, and background—and paid directly to your program.

Once You’re in Israel

As a Masa Fellow, you’ll join a vibrant global community and gain access to events, trainings, summits, volunteer opportunities, and more.

After Your Program

Once your program ends, your journey with Masa continues. As an alum, you’ll always be part of our global community—connected through events, career opportunities, and a shared bond that lasts long after your time in Israel.
