Masa is the Hebrew word for journey — and for over 20 years, Masa Israel Journey has been helping young Jewish adults from around the world embark on theirs.
We are the Ultra Connector: linking young Jews between the ages of 16 and 40 to immersive programs in Israel, connecting them with meaningful internships and career opportunities, and building a global community that lasts long after the program ends. As a joint project of the Jewish Agency for Israel and the Government of Israel, Masa serves as a living bridge between Jewish communities worldwide and life in Israel.
With programs ranging from 6 weeks to a full year, there’s a Masa experience built for every stage of life — whether you’re exploring your identity, launching your career, or deepening your connection to Israel and the Jewish world.

Our Story

In 2004, the Jewish Agency for Israel, Keren HaYesod, The Jewish Federations of North America, and the Government of Israel came together with a shared conviction: that every young Jewish person deserves the opportunity to establish a deep, formative connection to Israel through a long-term experience in the country.
From that founding partnership, Masa Israel Journey was born. Today, more than 220,000 Fellows from over 60 countries have embarked on their Masa journey — turning a vision into a living, growing reality.
