Description
Our interns will be asked to help support the children and mothers that are in Israel for life-saving heart surgery. Need to feel comfortable running activities and playing with children that may not speak any English. The intern will also be asked to help with office work, databasing, life history interviews, marketing, and fundraising.
Qualifications
We need someone who has an interest in non-profit, experience with children, and helps if they have an interest in fundraising and global health.
Save a Child’s Heart is an Israeli humanitarian organization, working internationally to save the lives of children from countries where access to pediatric heart care is limited or nonexistent.
Founded in 1995 and based at the Sylvan Adams Children's Hospital, Save a Child’s Heart has saved the lives of more than 6,000 children from 63 countries and has brought more than 140 local healthcare professionals to Israel for training so they can treat their own children independently and create centers of excellence in their home countries.
