This project is supported by the Oz Mendelovich Memorial Fund. Oz, a combat soldier at the IDF Golani commando unit, fell in the fierce battle in Shajia in Gaza during Operation Tzuk Eitan on July 20, 2014, when he was only 21 years old. Every day we come across commemorative initiatives that are additional to our own and bear the names of the fallen, these change the face of Israeli society for the better. We operate the Oz Foundation and assist in the establishment and operation of a wide and rich variety of commemorative projects to help disadvantaged populations, bereaved families and those injured in war and hostilities
