Description
Guez Partners & Maor Investments are two sister companies sharing the same team and office space.
As a VC and M&A Intern, you will have a few months’ opportunities to experience the day-to-day of our executive team in Tel Aviv, dealing with the adjacent and complementary worlds of both VC and M&A. You will work on a variety of transactions together with the full-time analysts. You will become familiar with a wide range of organizations and industries, and get ownership on different assignments, such as:
• Analyzing companies and industries and preparing company and industry profiles
• Analyzing potential buyer universes and potential targets for targets/buyers
• Mapping relevant tech domains to assist Maor’s deal flow
• Supporting the preparation of investment banking marketing materials (Client pitches, Company teasers, Information memorandums)
• Supporting the preparation of due diligence analyses and investment memos
• Conducting company valuations using market and transaction multiples, DCF and LBO methods
• Building and analyzing financial models and business plans
Qualifications
• History of excellence
• B.A./M.A. (or equivalent) student from a top academic institution in a relevant field
• Good understanding of the basic concepts of business strategy, VC, capital markets, and M&A
• Analytical approach, strong passion to numbers, attention to details, and ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Infinite curiosity and willingness to learn new things and experience new domains on any given day
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• Fluent English; French/Hebrew- an advantage
• Previous experience (1/2 relevant internship(s) in M&A/PE/VC etc.) is not a must but can be a great advantage
