We are looking for a Data Scientist!
We are Jika, a young and growing fintech startup that changes the way people invest, and we are looking for interns who are passionate about the stock market, startups, and data science!
Jika is a platform that aims to make investing in the stock market accessible and simple for retail investors at all levels, using institutional-grade research tools and educational tools for better investment decision-making.
Jika is a highly tech-oriented startup, both co-founders are experienced programmers that develop Jika by themselves. As we grow, we look to expand our R&D capabilities by adding new members to our team. One of our main R&D efforts is data science. Our new team members will be responsible for developing NLP and ML algorithms that analyze financial and alternative data to produce insights for Jika’s users.
In addition, they will join an experienced team and be exposed to a startup in its growth phase, to our working methods, to the process itself, and hopefully stay with us as employees!
Qualifications
Required skills:
Experience with statistical and machine learning tools
Experience developing machine learning/NLP algorithms
Super passionate retail investor
Ability to manage high-level research
Excellent teamwork skills
