The External Affairs Department works across the organization to advance KKL-JNF in the fields of Forestry, Water and Sustainable Development. We gather and offer our professional knowledge and techniques to the world, and initiate cooperation projects with other countries and international organizations.
The role will include:
– Coordinating and gathering information for E.U. Grant Proposals. -Writing English text and letters -Coordination with professional contacts – Coordinating the list of International Organizations -Coordinating logistics and needs for International Conferences – Coordinate exhibition booths

Requirements:
– Excellent planning and coordination skills —Some knowledge about Sustainable Development/Climate Change -Creative and imaginative thinking
– Excellent English writing skills — attention to detail
– Familiarity with the content of the environmental and Zionist world
– Experince in producing events – will be an advantage

KKL-JNF is a non-governmental organization (NGO), established over 120 years ago. KKL-JNF is considered one of the world’s oldest organizations operating in the field of environmental issues, ecology and sustainable development. Although we are based in Israel, KKL-JNF is active in more than 55 countries throughout the world and works in cooperation with many governmental and non-governmental organizations to promote common environmental interests. KKL-JNF’s main goal is to rehabilitate, develop and preserve Israel's natural resources and open spaces, for the benefit of all inhabitants of the State of Israel. Owing to a special mandate with the Government of Israel, KKL-JNF operates as the National Forest Service and the Land Development Authority in Israel.
