Job Description

Interns and volunteers are a vital part of the work of JIJ they come from many different countries and various educational, religious, and cultural backgrounds. Our program goals and projects are such that we can take an intern’s expertise and tailor a project for them.

This enhances both the experience of the intern and the final results for JIJ. The interns that have a corresponding academic background work on international human rights research and are responsible for interviewing, researching, writing, and editing. We also have opportunities for those with skills in graphic design, video editing, and managing social network tools.

Established in 2007, JIJ operates both internationally and domestically. JIJ’s International Law and Public Diplomacy Department stands at the forefront of Israel’s struggle to maintain their standing among the international community. We use the legal and advocacy tools at our disposal in order to confront the most complex issues. Since 2011 JIJ’s International department runs a leading internship program that has developed a new generation of influencers around the world. Our in-depth research, legal expositions, memos and position papers have impacted the lives of millions around the world and are presented before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, the Israeli Parliament, the United Nations and governmental offices worldwide.
