Job Description

Because ROPES is still in the startup phase, the intern will wear multiple hats. The exact portfolio of responsibilities will be determined in discussion with the team and will depend on the interests and qualifications of the chosen applicant, as well as the evolving needs of the organization.

Qualifications

helping design, plan, and execute ROPES’s pilot program—a Paris summit for young members of parliament and other emerging political leaders—in coordination with the founder, representatives from cosponsoring organizations, and the participants themselves
-working with the ROPES team to begin imagining and assessing the feasibility of subsequent programs
-working with the founder, development director and the ROPES advisory board to identify funding opportunities and craft relevant proposals
-liaising with like minded NGOs in the region in order to assess opportunities for synergy.
