Help us manage creative, eye-catching publicity on social media by frequent posting and making videos of our fashion events, taking photos of the fashion creations made by the participants at the fashion studio. You are also welcome ( but not required) to participate in workshops offered as well as to lead a class in any related fashion skills connected to making clothing or accessories or teaching skills for marketing fashion on social media if you wish😊

The ideal candidate would:
-Enjoy the challenge of creating a buzz on social media and like creating content for posting
– would have some background or experience in marketing on social media or in publicity
– would have some graphic design skills in order to design posters for events
-would be friendly and feel comfortable working with Arab and Israeli women together
– would enjoy fashion, however, she need not have skills in fashion

I am currently forming the non-profit Amuta called ‘Fashion for Peace’ ׳אופנה למען שלום׳ which brings Arab and Jewish women together for fashion projects and events in my Jerusalem art gallery and fashion studio. There will be workshops in creating fashion and accessories, showcasing their creations in fashion shows that we stage and opportunities to sell their fashion at events for the public that we will organize. We will teach entrepreneurial skills and create an online platform for sales for the products created by participants in ‘Fashion for Peace’. The mission of the Amuta is to develop relationships between Arab and Israeli women through their shared passion for fashion while at the same time, generating income for the participants in helping them with skills and sales. We have instructors lined up for textile design, sewing, and painting. We are currently looking for interns who would enjoy managing our social media publicity, film videos, help us organize our events and who would be enthusiastic about the initiative of forging new relationships with our Arab neighbors. If the intern had experience in any aspect of fashion,or in digital marketing, they are also welcome to lead a workshop.
