Because ROPES is still in the startup phase, the intern will wear multiple hats. The exact portfolio of responsibilities will be determined in discussion with the team and will depend on the interests and qualifications of the chosen applicant, as well as the evolving needs of the organization.
helping design, plan, and execute ROPES’s pilot program—a Paris summit for young members of parliament and other emerging political leaders—in coordination with the founder, representatives from cosponsoring organizations, and the participants themselves

– Drafting of English-language legal documents for use in Israel and to ensure compliance with international obligations of corporate clients within Israel (such as EU-compliant GDPR policies);
– Review of clients’ operations with risk analysis of potential legal exposure;
– Developing and executing the firm’s legal marketing plan;
– Identifying networking opportunities with young local businesses, venture capitalists and others within the Israeli start-up ecosystem;
– Writing articles related to legal topics within the firm’s commercial and corporate practice area for publication on the firm’s website and social channels.
