The Resource Development- Communications Intern will work closely with the entire ARDC team to find new original content to write on the ARDC blog. The Communications Intern must be able to quickly extrapolate a narrative from donor reports and data. They must have a pulse on the good things happening within the community, and be able to independently pursue those stories.
Main Responsibilities:
● Attend at least one day of Reception per week
● Write content for blog posts and monthly updates
● Create narrative surrounding monthly or yearly data
● Writing of the annual report
● Creation of Monthly promotional materials
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
● Comfortable working with refugees and asylum seekers from a variety of backgrounds, including those with limited formal education and/or literacy skills
● Fluent English is mandatory, Hebrew is an advantage, Arabic is an advantage
● Excellent writing skills are a must
● Photography skills are an advantage
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
● Responsible, flexible, and dedicated
● Self motivated, and deadline oriented
A Community Manager is the face of a company, managing communications in both directions.
You will be responsible for all communications, PR, social media, and content creation, among other things.
It’s a communications role, incorporating online tools and in-person networking to create relationships and ultimately build the company both online and off.
Responsibilities:
– Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
– Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
– Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other strategically relevant online properties
– Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
– Identify needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
– Benchmark – Following competitor’s activity and trends; completing benchmarks and analyzing opportunities
– Degree or pursuing a degree in a relevant field (BA in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or other related degree)
– Must be able to speak fluently English
– Spanish, French, German a plus
– Understanding of popular social media platforms, basically an Instagram rock star!

At Jika, we have been focused on product development from day one and applied the product-lead-growth methodology. That makes the product a primary and significant part of Jika. Students who join as product management interns will be responsible for Jika’s beta-user relations management, user testing, and user activity analysis.
In addition, they will join an experienced team and be exposed to a startup in its growth phase, to our working methods, to the process itself, and hopefully stay with us as employees!
Responsibilities:
Beta-user relations management – Manage our beta-user community. Encourage beta-user engagement, write content regarding the product in relevant platforms, organize and manage events, and be responsible for the beta-user acquisition.
User testing – Manage user testing operation, recruit testers, build user-test flows, analyze results, and measure performance
Analyze user activity -analyze the activity and behavior of the users on the platform using product analytics tools, draw conclusions regarding the product from the operation.
