MDI is looking for part-time talented student to grow with us as a developer in a technology company in the digital health space while overcoming challenges related both to technology and the challenges of this space.
Responsibilities:
Developing MDI’s client-facing products and assist with backend architecture
Delivering high quality, fully-tested code
Assisting and participating in the many areas of responsibility of a developer in MDI – code design, development, QA, devops and product design
Assisting in implementing/modifying MDI’s proprietary algorithms for patient medication risk analysis
Responsible for keeping MDIs technology and products compliant with various required regulations (such as HIPAA and GDPR) in the development and deployment processes.
Conduct frequent code-reviews and be a part of a process of self-improvement and continuous learning.
Fit in a rapid working environment utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, etc…)
BA/Bsc student in computer science
Comprehensive knowledge of at least 1 modern coding language (Javascript/C#/Java/Python)
Good knowledge of OOP methodologies and best practices.
Flexibility – ability to adjust to various types of tasks (development, HL design, documentation, QA, devops, etc…) and be able to adapt to context switching.
Ability for self-learning various areas in coding and adjacent fields.

– At least 3 years of experience as a BE developer
– A team player with strong interpersonal skills
– High proficiency with python/javascript/typescript/go. More than one is an advantage
– Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture
– Cybersecurity background will be appreciated
– Cloud background (cybersecurity or development) will be appreciated
Creating Energy models, climate analysis, thermal insulation guidance, and other analysis and guidelines related to the field of green building and sustainable design.
Possibility of interacting with external consultants, architects, and project managers to promote green building and sustainable goals
Environmental science/engineering
LEED GA/AP or familiarity with green building standards
Help build and connect a hardware casing for the company’s navigation system for drones and vehicles. Including cabling, electricity, software, mechanical design, mounting on the platform, webapp and AI modules that are involved in the solution.
Needs to be responsible, communicative, and bright.

IBI Group is currently engaged in Design Services during Construction of the 10 underground stations of the Red Line of the Tel Aviv Light Rail which is currently under construction.
Work includes reviewing submitted materials, answering contractors’ requests for information, updating and detailing drawings and specifications, and site inspection. The tasks and responsibilities of the intern include supporting IBI in delivery of the services, including design and engineering tasks.
This position is a great opportunity to get to know the design and construction industry in Israel and to be involved in the biggest infrastructure project in Israel!
Technical background – Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineer or similar
Candidate must be organized. Openness to learning, cooperation and working to schedule.
The main project language is *English* though Hebrew is a plus

Interns at Alfa typically work on 3D modeling in programs such as Revit and Sketchup to aid in our building science work. Additionally, work is available to work on the credits for LEED certification.
In the past, interns have completed work on post occupancy research – how do green building effect occupant health, well-being, and productivity. Additionally, work can be done to analyze buildings’ water and energy use data.
As we have an international team, we can accommodate interns with a strong background in English, and is some cases, interns who also speak Spanish and French can excel in our office.
Interns must come with a personal laptop.
The office is located 45 minutes to an hour by car from Tel Aviv. Options for carpooling exist.
Currently, employees at Alfa are working from the office 2-3 days a week and the other 2-3 days are working from home.
We request interns to complete at least 30 hours of work each week.
