Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC) hosts a unique 5-month international dance program known as Dance Journey. Open to dancers 18-35 years of age from around the world, this incredible program provides an outstanding opportunity for professional development while dancing side-by-side with KCDC dancers and learning from one of the leading dance companies in the world. Types of academic accreditation: Recognized as an apprentice program by some academic institutions.Types of certification: Upon completion, participants receive an official letter of recommendation upon request.
Join The International Dance Journey: an exclusive 5-month international dance program by Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company starting in September 2025 at the International Dance Village in Kibbutz Ga’aton. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Rami Be’er, participants will receive intensive training in the company’s repertoire, Cullberg Ballet pieces by Mats Ek, classical ballet, Pilates, floor work, and improvisation. The program includes personal creation projects, professional guidance, access to studios, and workshops on video and music editing, stage lighting, and audition preparation. Additionally, participants will be exposed to the Ilan Lev Method Introductory Workshop and explore Israel’s rich culture through trips to the Dead Sea, Jerusalem, and Jaffa.
