The Yahel Social Change Fellowship is a service-based fellowship for young adults ages 22-30 passionate about social change. The fellowship puts young adults from around the world at the forefront of social issues facing Israel and equips them with the tools to create real, lasting change.
Our fellowship is highly selective and includes individuals from diverse countries, religious backgrounds, and academic and professional experiences.

Our fellowship is based in the city of Lod, Rishon Lezion, and Haifa.
In Lod, you will have specific training and experience in the field of Shared Society.
In Haifa, you will have specific training and experience in the field of Gender Equity.
In Rishon Letzion you will have specific training and experience in the field of Immigration.
Basics to Know
Cost of the program:
- $1,000 for all participants
Housing: fully furnished rented Yahel apartments
Language: The program is facilitated in English. Knowledge of Hebrew and Arabic is an advantage but not necessary
Living stipend provided by Yahel: 1,000 NIS/monthly (~$310USD)
Eligibility: The fellowship is open to Jews and non-Jews, 22-30, preferred with a college degree, and from all countries as long as they are proficient in English
