What's Included?
3 weeks in Tel Aviv, 1 week in Eilat
2 days a week provided to work remotely
3-4 days per week to volunteer
1 day with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
1 leadership day by Masa
Double room occupancy (or single room for additional cost)
1 day trip to the South (if safe and open)
Shabbat is free (with 1 Shabbat planned together as a cohort with a guest speaker)

📍Ages: 22 – 50
✅ Eligibility: Must be from Federations and partner orgs/synagogues across Canada, as well as other Jewish professionals, or Jews who professionally work remotely.
📍Funding: Additional Masa Grant of $2,650 USD per fellow. Fellow pays $150 USD cost of the program to the organizer, $50USD non-refundable registration fee to Masa.

To partner with Masa, all fellows must receive:

You will have the opportunity to work remotely for a total of 8 days, with 2 remote work days each week.
FAQs
What are the security measures?
Masa's head of security approves the entire program including every tour/trip/activity day.
During trips, a medic and a security guard join the group. We fulfill and follow the updated safety guidelines from Masa.
Every accommodation has a safe zone or shelter either in/near the building or in the apartments.
What volunteering will we do, and how is transportation arranged?
The volunteering activities are varied and include volunteering on a military base, agricultural volunteering, community volunteering in Eilat as needed, such as packaging food, day care for young children at risk, etc.
Volunteers are usually taken by organized transportation or public transportation if its within city limits.
Can I pay for a single room? What’s the cost and process?
While we currently cannot guarantee a single room, we will check the possibility and the cost if there is demand.
The price will depend on the cost of the specific accommodation/s.
What will the accommodations be like in Tel Aviv and Eilat?
Residential apartments with bathrooms and a kitchenette.
What are the 8 remote work dates?

Which cafes in Tel Aviv are suitable for remote work?
First of all, you can work at your apartment, There is Wi-Fi.
The guide who will accompany the group will introduce you to the worthwhile cafes in the area where you can sit comfortably and work.
Which cafes in Eilat are suitable for remote work?
First of all, you can work at your apartment, There is Wi-Fi.

Are there any sukkah hop events for young adults?
We will organize an experiential activity of a Sukkot tour.
In addition, we will connect you to the possibilities of the activities that are happening in Tel Aviv
Will we visit Hostage Square in Tel Aviv?
With God's help, by the time you arrive there will be no need for the Hostage Square, but if it is still there, we will go.
Will we visit the Kotel in Jerusalem?
With God's help, yes. This is the heart of Israel.
Will we visit the new library in Jerusalem?
Hopefully we will go there either or to the Anu Museum in Tel Aviv. (of course you can go there on their own time).
Will we meet with any hostage families?
This is a sensitive issue, some of our groups have met and some have not. This will be determined as the program gets closer to beginning.
Will we visit the Nova site, and how can I get there?
Unfortunately, because the program is during the holidays, and we want to allow you time to work remotely, we won't have enough time to go on a tour of Nova, but you can go there in your free time, we will explain to you how you can do it.
Can I request to room with my partner?
Gladly, make sure to mention it in the interview with us.
Do the apartments observe Kashrut and Shabbat?
The program observes Shabbat and kosher in public, but of course everyone can do what they want in their apartment out of respect for others.
Will we hear from Canadians on MITF or other Masa programs?
If there is a wiliness of the participants of the program, of course we will organize such a meeting
