The Preparatory Program for new Olim (immigrants) at Tel Aviv University is a one-year program designed for newcomers and foreign students who have graduated high school and wish to pursue academic studies in Israel.
The goal of the program is to bridge the gap between overseas and Israeli high school study curricula and provide accreditation that will enable students to pursue degree programs at the University; to provide students with intensive preparation for academic studies; familiarize students with Hebrew, the teaching language of the University; to provide basic knowledge and understanding of Israel and Jewish history; and to acquaint students with study tracks at the University.
