Film Jerusalem

Program Description

Film Jerusalem, a unique program initiated by the Sam Spiegel School of Television and Film and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Rothberg International School (RIS), combines professional training in film production, academic study and exposure to Israel’s challenging social, historical and cultural environment. The program offers advanced study in the theoretical and practical aspects of documentary film making, and students carry out their own productions under the guidance of the school’s professional staff.
 
In addition, students choose from a wide range of academic courses in Israel and Middle Eastern Studies, Comparative Religion and Behavioral Sciences as well as Hebrew or Arabic Language. Applicants must submit a portfolio.
