Ben-Gurion University Medical School for International Health

Program Description

Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) Medical School for International Health is a medical degree program dedicated to training physicians in international health and medicine. MSIH's structure follows the US style of medical degree programs, namely two years of basic science and two years of clinical science.
In addition to a typical American-style medical curriculum, MSIH students throughout the program take a required global health track that includes, among other matters, cross-cultural communications, the challenge of doing clinical work thorough translators, nutrition in the developing world, disaster relief, population-based medicine, and bio-terrorism and health.

All eligible Masa Israel participants can receive financial assistance toward the cost of their program.
