MAPMES, The Masters of Arts Program in Middle East Studies, is an intensive M.A. program in English designed for students who plan to pursue doctoral studies or work in government and non-government organizations. It covers several disciplinary approaches and provides in-depth knowledge of the Middle East, its history societies, cultures, economics and politics.
The program offers intensive seminar classes as well as Arabic and Hebrew courses, and students are invited to participate in the department's international workshop which focuses on cutting-edge topics in the study of the Middle East. The program also includes a study-tour to one of the countries in the region.
