Funding Your Journey
Masa Israel works to make it as easy as possible for Jewish young adults to come to Israel.
We offer grants and/or scholarships to help make the experience more affordable, and collect information about other grants and scholarships available for long-term Israel programs from third party organizations.
We provide every eligible participant a grant towards participating in a program in Israel. Grant amounts are determined by factors such as age, home country, length of program, etc. In addition, need-based scholarships are available. To find out more about available funding please contact one of our representatives by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
How we do it
Masa Israel is governed by a 16-member steering committee, with representatives from both the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel. Masa Israel staff and representatives work in partnership with program operators, community organizations, participants and alumni to help make it easy for thousands of young adults to have immersive Israel experiences.
Approximately 80% of Masa Israel's budget goes toward providing universal grants and needs-based scholarships to participants of affiliated programs to help alleviate the tuition burden. The rest of our budget is used for marketing, recruitment, program development and overhead around the world.
