April 3-5, 2008 Jerusalem (location TBA) There is perhaps no issue more politically and socially charged than the Palestinian Israeli conflict.  After living here for an extended period of time, you have an insight to its complexities that most are unaware of or choose to ignore in the pursuit of their own agenda.  The MASA MAP Hasbara Shabbaton provides you with tools and public speaking training that will help you express your opinions and experiences effectively.  Shabbaton will include: 1) Sessions with: Former Israeli Chief of Staff Moshe "Boogie" Ya'Alon  A current member of the Knesset The Jerusalem AIPC office Itamar Marcus from Palestinian Media Watch A prominant Arab Israeli reporter Israeli music artist Chemi Rodner  2) A public speaking and debate workshop at IDC Herzilyah 3) Tour of the Security Wall 4) Visiting the Foreign Affairs Situation Room *Due to the professional nature of this Shabbaton, we are asking participants to fill out a short questionnaire explaining why they wish to attend.
