Program Description

Want to study government in Israel with a curriculum in line with those of the world’s leading government programs? Featuring a first-class team of lecturers and a range of study tracks, the B.A. program in Government at IDC Herzliya is competitive with the schools of government at Harvard, Georgetown, Syracuse, and Princeton. It is comprised of a core curriculum during the first and second years of study, which serves as the basis for a specialist concentration in the third year of the program.
 
Third-year students choose from six areas of specialization including: diplomacy and strategy, government and politics, security and terrorism, the Middle East, and international conflict resolution.

jInternship connects Jewish college students, recent graduates and young professionals with internships hosted by top Israeli companies and Jewish learning programs. jInternship has partnerships with hundreds of companies in Israel, so you're sure to land an exciting international internship in your field. The program runs in cooperation with premier peer-based Jewish trips to Israel, meaning you'll have a blast while learning tons about Israel and Judaism.

Young Judaea Israel Year Program

Program Description

Young Judaea Year Course offers you the opportunity to immerse yourself in all aspects of Israeli life and culture: learning Hebrew, interacting with your Israeli peers, developing an appreciation for your Jewish heritage, and exploring Israel through a variety of different volunteer placements. You will spend one-third of your program in each of three locations in Israel: Jerusalem, Bat Yam, and the Negev.
 
The program also includes a number of optional “Extras” including weekly siyurim (field trips), special seminars, tiyulim (hikes), cultural and social activities, additional international travel opportunities, a Family Tour and more! Specialty Tracks allow participants to customize their year in Israel in a very personal way, inspiring them to explore Israel on their own terms.
