Program Description

The Habonim Dror Shnat program is an intensive 10 month education and leadership program in Israel. Shnat is the ultimate Habonim Dror program, giving each participant the chance to live, experience and express the movement's ideology, and then return to their home country educated and inspired. 
 
The Mexican Shnat group joins groups from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Holland, Brazil, Uruguay, Great Britain, and Argentina (just to name a few).
 

Bnei Akiva - Amlat

Program Description

Amlat is combines leadership, Jewish studies, Hebrew language, work on a Kibbutz, an Army/MDA experience and more. The program is meant for young Jewish boys and girls from South America who are looking for a Jewish traditional program. 
 
The program includes trips all over the country, meeting with Israelis and other young people from all over the world, volunteering, celebrating Shabbat and Holidays together, leadership seminar and more. Participants will be staying in a variety of locations including youth hostels, a kibbutz and a yeshiva and receive full board.
 

Yeshivat Heichal Eliyahu - Chana Chekoula Torah

Program Description

Yeshivat Hekhal Eliyahu offers an intensive program of study for young men who want to learn Torah, enabling students to study independently and discover the key texts for understanding the basics of Emunah. Not only will you obtain knowledge, but also to receive training and personal spiritual tools needed to face the world with the true values ​​of the Torah.
 
The Yeshiva is for young people who already have the basics and have the will to pursue futher study. Teaching is in Hebrew, with some French courses offered. Rabbis who speak French will work with the students who need additional help.
 

Tzofim - Shnat Sherut Tzabar

Program Description

Want to spend a year working with teens and children in development towns, boarding schools, or community centers in Israel before enrolling in college? On Tzofim Shnat Sherut, you will lead an authentic Israeli life, speak Hebrew, serve the community, and live with Israelis your age.
 
As a participant, you will live as a group in communes with the rest of the Tzofim Shnat Sherut participants from Israel. Participants must be fluent in Hebrew, have prior experience working with children and youth, and have visited or lived in Israel for an extended period of time. Participants from North America interested in joining the program will need to attend pre-preparation seminars in the United States.
 

Yeshivat Yishrei Lev

Program Description

Yishrei Lev provides its talmidim with a "classical yeshiva" experience, while embracing the realities of the contemporary Orthodox community. Yishrei Lev is marked by a high level of learning and instilling in its students a love for, and commitment to, Torah, Klal Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael.
 
At Yishrei Lev, we provide a structure in the daily schedule which allows the students to realize tangible accomplishments in their learning. The program focuses on advanced Gemara study but emphasizes and includes daily study of Chumash, Halacha L'Maaseh, Jewish philosophy and Mussar. The students in the Yeshiva enjoy the benefits of totally accessible Rabbeim who guide them as they develop into well rounded, balanced Bnei Torah. Our Rabbeim and Kollel members live around the Yeshiva and the talmidim become part of their extended family.

Program Description

Yeshivat Eretz Hatzvi is dedicated to instilling students with a commitment to Avodat HaShem and a love for Torah learning, empowering them to become Jewish leaders by developing their skills in Jewish learning and their love of Am Yisrael, Torat Yisrael, and Eretz Yisrael, preparing them for success in college and in their future.
 
The curriculum places a major emphasis on teaching the skills that will enable you to pursue independent study. In addition to Gemara, Limud Tanach, Halacha, Machshava, and leadership development figure prominently.

Program Description

Atid Hemdat is a preparatory year for higher education in Israel. It provides in one year the requirements for pursuing studies, in a setting where the Torah is the heart of education. A special effort is provided to help each girl to orient themselves.
 
The program includes a variety of courses, a complete ulpan (more than 550 hours), a serious preparation for psychometric tests as well as English classes with option math and science education. The program also includes unforgettable excursions, sports and volunteering. Hemdat Hadarom is renowned for its beautiful campus and comfortable apartments.

Shalhevet is an international World Bnei Akiva program, where you will meet friends from Italy, Germany, Scandinavia, Canada, USA and more.

 

Shalhevet is an uplifting, inspiring and empowering year in Israel with Bnei Akiva.

 

You’ll learn new skills, enhance old ones, develop your Jewish identity and adapt to new environments – all while enjoying the group experience.

 

Shalhevet is all about learning and giving. It’s a year for yourself, but also a chance to contribute to society around you.
 

Highlights

Shalhevet is a ten-month program encompassing a variety of experiences: studying Torah, volunteering on a kibbutz, a Hebrew Ulpan, Marva, Magen David Adom, leadership program, and much more. Shalhevet is not based in just one location—round every two months, the group moves to another part of Israel. 

 

Yeshivat Orayta

Program Description

Orayta, located in the Old City of Jerusalem overlooking the Kotel, is housed in a magnificent 900 year-old Crusader building with an incredible view of the Temple Mount (Har Habayit), the Mount of Olives (Har Hazeitim) and the Judean Desert. At Orayta students will develop leadership skills and become philosophically equipped to cope with the challenges of living a Torah life in a modern secular world.
 
Students will be introduced to a wide range of Jewish thinkers including the teachings of Rav Abraham Isaac Kook, Rabbi J.B. Soloveitchik and the Chassidic Masters. At Orayta students will understand why they learn Gemara and the vital role it plays in their personal development. The year will not simply focus on one or two tractates; rather, students will probe sections selected from the entire Talmud that are relevant to their life and typify the gamut of archetypical modalities of Talmudic logic.
