	Application for MASA Grants and Scholarships

Let MASA start you on your Israel journey.

Congratulations on your decision to apply to a MASA-approved long term Israel program.

Your journey will open the road to new cultures and ideas, a deeper understanding of your Jewish heritage and provide opportunities to get acquainted with your peers from Israel and around the world.

As a MASA participant, you are entitled to receive a one-time MASA grant of $500 US.

MASA also offers a one-time scholarship for students who need supplementary financial help.*

We wish you all the best as you begin your Israel journey with MASA.

*The amount of the MASA scholarship is based on family size and income, calculated according to the length and cost of the program. Funding amounts are subject to change for the 2008-9 academic year.

MASA grants and needs-based scholarships are for one year only. Participants who have previously received a MASA grant or scholarship or who have been on an organized long-term Israel program since September, 2004 are not eligible to apply.

MASA grants and needs-based scholarships are available only to Jewish applicants who are not Israeli citizens or who have left Israel before their 14^th birthday and have lived outside of Israel for over 4 years.
