Make an impact in one of the world’s most advanced fields of medicine. The Medical Track offers an intensive educational program and hands-on experience on the ground and in top research facilities. Meet leading health professionals, work with Israeli paramedics, and find out how Israel is at the forefront of medical practice, research, and technology.
Program Description:
Participants will be fully integrated in the Year Course, the 9-month program of formal and informal education for recent high school graduates who spend a dynamic year living, volunteering and studying in Israel.
Placements can include: Jerusalem, community volunteering experiences near Tel Aviv, variety of arts-related work, army, navy, youth aliya village, safari, kibbutz and more. Participants can earn up to a year's worth of college credit through the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA, while building leadership skills and developing and strengthening their relationship with the country’s land and people.
Core contents of the program:
Volunteer with Magen David Adom and in top research facilities, immersion into Israeli society, Hebrew Ulpan, volunteer opportunities, academic studies.
What is included?
Enrichment classes, room and board, volunteer opportunities and activities focusing on the medical field in Israel, academic component fully accredited through the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA (earn up to a year's worth of college credit), round-trip international airfare, tiyulim, travel, medical insurance, pre-departure orientation program.
Extras:
