Passionate about sports? The athletic track is for you. Train with and learn from Israel’s best coaches and athletes, compete in team and individual sports, and take a turn on the sidelines as a coach, trainer, or referee.



Program Description:
YCAP participants will be fully integrated in the Year Course, the 9-month program of formal and informal education for recent high school graduates who spend a dynamic year living, volunteering and studying in Israel. Placements can include: Jerusalem, community volunteering experiences near Tel Aviv, army, navy, youth aliya village, safari, kibbutz and more.

Participants can earn up to a year's worth of college credit through the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA, while building leadership skills and developing and strengthening their relationship with the country’s land and people. Exciting new extensions to enhance program experience are available. See extras below.

Core contents of the program:
Athletic training and leadership skills, Immersion into Israeli society, Hebrew Ulpan, volunteer opportunities, academic studies.

What is included?
Three months at the Pardes Hannah Agricultural School where students will participate in competitive sports, learn coaching and training skills, attend Israeli sporting events, room and board, academic component fully accredited through the American Jewish University in Los Angeles, CA (earn up to a year's worth of college credit), round-trip international airfare, tiyulim, volunteer opportunities, travel, medical insurance, pre-departure orientation program.

Extras:
Participants can concentrate on their love of sports and athletics while still being a part of the overall Year Course experience. Three months will be spent concentrating on training and competitive sports, followed by three months of volunteering in a variety of aspects of Israeli society and a three month accredited academic component in a brand new state of the art facility in Jerusalem.
