OTZMA – The Ultimate Real Life Experience. OTZMA is a service-oriented leadership development program for college graduates from North America. A 10- month all-encompassing living, learning and volunteering experience in Israel. It is designed to give Jewish adults aged 20-26 an opportunity to live and volunteer in a variety of settings. OTZMA leadership training and experience will be your “gateway” into the North American Jewish lay and professional world. Additionally, the program includes an intensive educational program, host families, tours of the country, and Ulpan.

Core contents of the program: Program Goals and Objectives:
• Promotes direct contact and strengthens ties between Jewish communities around the world and Israel. • Provides its participants with the opportunity to make a timely and meaningful contribution of service to Israel. • Facilitates opportunities for personal exploration of Jewish identity. • Offers experiential and educational opportunities that foster a deeper understanding of Israel. • Creates future lay and professional leadership for the North American and British Jewish community.
The program includes: • September-November: Absorption Center/Youth Village & Ulpan • January-March: Community Service Track • February-December: Choice of Judaic Studies or Sar-El (army experience) • March-May: Social Action/Communal Service Work Experience (internship or kibbutz)
What does it include? Accommodation, educational program, food stipend and coordination of all volunteer and social activities.
